Ilka St. Denis

Ilka St. Denis is an undergraduate student attending Stony Brook School of Nursing. She is expected to earn her Bachelor’s of Science major in Nursing degree in 2022. After recently studying abroad in Tanzania, she became more interested in concentrating her studies on reproductive health.

 

Donna

Donna is currently volunteering as a research assistant for the Mind-Body Clinical Research Center, in collaboration with the COPE study. She recived her B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and is excited to be working on this important study.

 

Francine Chirico

Francine Chirico is a second-year Master of Social Work student at the Stony Brook University School of Social Welfare, specializing in Integrated Health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Hofstra University. She will be assisting with the COPE Study, a forthcoming project on prenatal stress. Francine has experience working with youth in the elementary school setting and with the long-term care population.

Lucero Molina

Lucero Molina graduated with a BS in Psychology from Stony Brook University and is also a research coordinator at the Mind Body Clinical Research Center. Her research interests include investigating anxiety, stress, and trauma in high-risk populations, as well as how these disorders can be addressed through novel and culturally-sensitive treatments.
