Through a large collaborative effort involving researchers studying evolutionary developmental biology across a wide range of specialties, we have published an opinion piece in a recent issue of EvoDevo. This concept paper came out of a fantastic meeting at Nescent in December of 2013, and resulted in the formation of a new Pan American Evo-Devo society.
You can find the paper here.
The first meeting of the PanAm Society for Evolutionary Developmental Biology will take place at UC Berkeley this August (5th-9th). It should be a fun meeting – hope to see you there!
