I for one can say the genre of biographical films is not one that I find very interesting and have seen many movies within said genre. However, this fictional biography of a man who has made a significant impact on American history is fantastic.

There will never truly be a man as great and as generous and kind as Forrest Gump. The story that is told of Forrest Gump’s life is an interesting one and is a quick breakdown of American culture through the years. The acting power behind Forrest Gump is some of the best I’ve ever seen and contains wonderful actors’ people still see today such as Tom Hanks. The use of then-modern technology to place Forrest Gump in these historical situations, such as meeting two presidents and talking to John Lennon on television is very seamless in the film. it’s a story of the hardships faced by an individual with a lower IQ as well as how the story and life of his longtime love interest Jenny and how their two stories interact. It’s a very touching story they’ll make you feel for a man who never even existed.

Anything I say cannot do this film service all I can really do is highly recommend the film and give it a rating of 9/10.
