On September 13th, Ocean Leadership is partnering with 7 other organizations to hold an Inaugural Reception for the newly created Senate Oceans Caucus. The Caucus will have its first meeting the morning of the 13th followed by its inaugural media event that afternoon. The capstone event of the day will be the inaugural reception. The purpose of the reception is to congratulate the Senators for their membership on the caucus and to demonstrate external support for the Senators’ and Caucus’ efforts to address ocean issues in the future.
