Congratulations to Omar for receiving one of the best student poster awards at the 2019 Carnegie Melon Forum on Biomedical Engineering for his paper on “Terahertz Pulsed Imaging for burn depth determination in an in vivo porcine scald model,” where he and his co-authors showcased the capability of the THz imaging modality for differentiating burn severities Omar’s poster was selected from approximately 115 presentations.
