Pop Up Challenge: Tire Me Out on March 26th
Shannon O’Connell had the top time completing the challenge in 1minute and 48seconds.
Tire Me Out was designed by Dean, who is the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness, and he wanted to challenge the students to complete a work out using our tractor trailer tires! We had two tires that participants could choose from and the challenge required them to complete 10 tire flips, 5 up-in-ups and sprint 2 laps around the track. The top times for male and females walked away with bragging rights and our lime green shirt.
CREC student employee, Brandon Blair, took home for lime green t-shirt for the 2nd time this semester.
We had 8 students participate in the challenge and they all finished withing 2 minutes!
All participants did a great job! They not only completed the challenge, but they learned how to properly flip a tire! Look out for our next challenge on Wednesday, April 9th at 6:00-6:45pm.
