The real importance of this project to me is the relevance of it today.  Here is a video posted 2 days ago about Target posting images of their models wearing Junior bikinis with ridiculous photoshopping done to the women’s arms and thighs.  There is nothing wrong with how these women look and yet this images that were uploaded were probably meant to be sent to an editor to be retouched to the desire appearance.  But this desired appearance is totally unnecessary! It furthers how we consistently feel we are “supposed” to look.  How can anyone remain confident in how they look if they are dealing with this type of judgement?
