Michael Martinez has been selected to participate in the 2021 St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium!

Michael has been selected to participate in the virtual 2021 St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS).  From over 1,500 students invited to apply for the symposium, he is one of 40 students selected by a faculty review committee to attend.

St. Jude offers two annual invited events for select Ph.D. students from around the U.S.: the National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS), held in spring, and the Future Fellow Research Conference (FFRC), held in summer. Normally, both events are all-expenses-paid and are hosted on the St. Jude campus in Memphis, Tennessee.

These competitive symposia allow Ph.D.-level graduate students from U.S. institutions to present their work, meet our faculty and learn about the cutting-edge research and facilities at St. Jude.

The symposia and application process are not advertised; thus, students may apply only if they have received an invitation from St. Jude, or are nominated by a faculty advisor.

Please join us in congratulating Michael Martinez for this wonderful achievement!
