Current Officers
Aayush Narula
President
Introducing our President, Aayush Narula! Aayush is senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Health, Medicine, and Society.
Why neuroscience interests him: “Neuroscience is a fascinating field that explores the structure and function of the nervous system, including the brain and how it relates to behavior, cognition, and various physiological processes. It seeks to explain the biological basis of human experiences, such as perception, memory, emotions, decision-making, and creativity. I hope to help create events that will interest students of all disciplines and will foster more research participation among the student body!”
Cris Zhang

Why neuroscience interests her: Derek Shepherd…
Heshwin Singh
Co-Vice President
Introducing our Co-Vice president, Heshwin Singh! Heshwin is a junior majoring in Biology and Psychology.
Why neuroscience interests her: Neuroscience, to me, is the ultimate treasure map, leading us through the uncharted corridors of perception, memory, and the intricate web of our senses. It’s an art form and a science, blending logic with the abstract, and daring us to perceive the world not just as it is, but as it resonates within our minds.
Saba Gulzar
Treasurer
Introducing our Treasurer, Saba Gulzar! Saba is a senior majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Health, Medicine, and Society.
Why neuroscience interests her: While I’ve always been interested in the complexities of the brain, I especially find it fascinating because of the way it bridges any gaps between the rest of our body systems. It’s crazy to think that this one organ could be so powerful.

Moniza Mujtaba
Events Coordinator
Introducing our Events Coordinator, Moniza Mujtaba! Moniza is a sophomore majoring in Biology and minoring in Writing and Rhetoric.
Why neuroscience interests her: I find the intricacies that revolve around human behavior- why we act the way we do, what is innate and what is learned, how individuals feel emotions so uniquely- to be so fascinating. The potential to endlessly explore such questions on a biological level is one of the reasons why neuroscience continues to pique my interest 🙂
