Hello Stitchers!
We hope that you and your families are healthy and well!
Stony Brook University Hospital has given us the approval to start accepting handcrafted items for our patients again.
In an abundance of caution, all donated items will be laundered by the hospital Linen Department before being distributed to the patients.
Right now, we need lap blankets and adult Afghans for the patients.
- Suggested sizes for Lapghans:
Square: 36 inches by 36 inches
Rectangular: 36 inches by 48 inches
- Suggested sizes for Afghans:
Small: 40 inches by 60 inches
Medium: 48 inches by 60 inches
Large: 50 inches by 64 inches
Email us to arrange drop-off of your finished projects. Mailing your items can provide a convenient option. (Note: we are not able to reimburse for any mailing expenses.)
