Wildlife and Offshore Wind

We are working on the Wildlife and Offshore Wind project with collaborators up and down the east coast. The project focuses on assessing impacts of offshore wind development on marine mammals, seabirds, sea turtles, and bats. Our lab will be collaborating on marine mammal work in the New York Bight, and will be working along with project collaborators at the Biodiversity Research Institute to tag seabirds before and after windfarm development to assess impacts on seabird movement, habitat use, and behavior.
