Backstory: A little bit about her life. Hannah is from the city and has always used an Iphone. This is her first year in Stony Brook and she is planning on being on the Pre-med track. In high school she took a lot of coding classes and has a library of books she plans to bring on campus.

Motivations: The main concern she has as a student is finding these services and being able to trust other students. The reason she would like an app like this because of the swapping of services and intellect. This can be a great way for her to meet new people but also a big financial help.

Ideal Experience: Hannah is not extremely technology savvy, but has used other social apps. She hopes that this experience is simple/ easy to understand.

 

Persona Type: Senior	Name: Derrick Williams
Age: 21	Location: Stony Brook, NY
Technical Comfort:	Job Title: Student & STEM TA

Backstory:  A little bit about his life. He is a Stony Brook senior who majors in Chemical Engineering. He is a prime example of a person with a lot of services to provide to other students.

Motivations: Derrick is interested in this particular site because he always complains of having textbooks at the end of the year that he has no idea what to do with. According to Stony Brook guidelines we are required to take courses outside of my major. These can range from art courses to environmental sciences. Hence the textbooks from courses I know longer need but always end up stuck with at the end of the semester.

Ideal Experience: The ideal experience for Derrick is to be able to give back to students on campus. He is really interested in seeing what services other students are providing that he can Swap something with.
