Kyle Collins, DMA candidate in harpsichord, was recently featured in Early Music America’s The Characters of Colonial Williamsburg by Dominic Giardino. Kyle is one of the newest members of the Governor’s Musick, Colonial Williamsburg’s in-house period instrument ensemble.
Kyle is a currently DMA candidate at Stony Brook University, studying harpsichord Performance with Arthur Haas. Mr. Collins has appeared as a soloist for J.S. Bach’s Concerto for 3 Harpsichords in C Major, BWV 1064 with the UNT Baroque Orchestra. He has performed with the Austin Baroque Orchestra, Monroe Symphony Orchestra, and with the American Bach Soloists as part of their annual academy. He has also won the Jurow prize for the most promising semi-finalist in the Mae and Irving Jurow International Harpsichord Competition in 2016.
