Concerned about exams at home?

March 18, 2020 Jennifer Adams

Respondus has kindly fully opened up the licensing during these interesting times for their Monitor software, which uses a webcam for remote proctoring.

If you are concerned about how to have exams online, you will probably want to attend one of these webinars found here.

Here is an additional youtube video on the topic:

About me

My name is Jennifer L. Adams and I’m the Director of Innovation for the Stony Brook University Libraries. Due to my natural proclivities, my thoughts often revolve around technology, but not exclusively. One of the issues that has long had my interest is inspiration; how to have it and how to communicate it. That is why when I was a student leader on campus as an undergraduate, the club that I was president of went on trips like white water rapids, hang gliding, paragliding and skydiving; and why in the past as an professional, I have brought TED to the whole SBU community.  Currently my interests steer me towards accessibility, diversity and inclusion – all being considered through the lens of technology.

Join me as I help find new and exciting ways to bring inspiration and excitement to the students at SBU.  Get involved by reaching out to us about donations*, competitions, and internship opportunities for our students.

I hope that you find my ponderings informative – and maybe inspiring too!

*We are setting up innovation labs/makerspaces and will be accepting donations of tools, laser cutters, textiles equipment or really anything that helps our students find new ways of being creative and inspired.
